I have been teaching Chinese and English both in the public sector and the private sector. I design lessons based on students' learning needs, and I specialize in utilizing a communicative approach to improve students' language proficiency. I design lessons based on students' learning needs. For example,
1. Communicative Chinese: We can do role play and language games after teaching you sentence structures and vocabulary for a certain topic( traveling, ordering food, shopping, work/school life, etc.). We can also freely discuss topics you are interested in to practice your skills for handling different conversations.
2. Test Preparation: I will provide clear feedback and strategies to improve your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
3. Interview Preparation: I can help you practice your answers through mock interviews and equip you with useful expressions in interview settings.
4. Building the Basics: I can help you understand the phonetic system (Pinyin) and the written system (Chinese characters/radicals).
5. Refining your Grammar and Pronunciation: I will provide constructive feedback on your Chinese grammar and pronunciation to help with your Chinese writing and speech.
