Harshit Jadav is a highly skilled percussionist with over 15 years of experience in playing and teaching various percussion instruments. Harshit is an expert in playing Dhol, Dholak, Octopad, Drums, and other percussion instruments. He has performed at numerous musical concerts and radio shows in India and Canada, showcasing his exceptional talent and versatility.
Harshit has completed a master's degree in pharmacy from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research and a certificate in sound engineering.
Harshit Jadav has extensive teaching experience with percussion instruments. For over 15 years, Harshit has taught students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop their technical proficiency, musicality, and creativity. Harshit is patient, encouraging, and adaptable in his teaching approach, tailoring his methods to each student's needs and learning style. He has a deep understanding of the history, technique, and musical styles of each percussion instrument he teaches, and he is passionate about passing that knowledge on to his students. Many of Harshit's students have gone on to successful careers as percussionists in the music industry, thanks to his expert guidance and mentorship.
Fundamentals: Start with the basics of percussion instruments, including posture, hand positioning, and stick grip. This provides a solid foundation for students to build upon.
Technique: Focus on building proper techniques, such as single and double strokes, paradiddles, and flams. The technique is critical to developing speed, accuracy, and control.
Weekends 1 pm - 9 pm Fridays 6 pm- 10 pm
