My name is Ivan, and I am a Spanish native speaker from Ecuador at South America. I love to teach my native language to non Spanish speaking population, and also help to improve their speaking, listening and understanding skills. I have been a Spanish teacher for over fifteen years. I have a university degree in business administration but teaching Spanish is my real passion. I like meeting people from around the world and look forward to helping you to learn and speak Spanish.
At university I studied business administration but my penchant for languages led me to teaching Spanish.
I have two training courses to teach Spanish. However, every year I am updating my knowledge and I am constantly learning new methods in order to improve my teaching skills.
In other hand, I count on a certification as translator (English - Spanish - English).
I have worked for several Spanish schools as well as international cultural and language agencies
I focus on developing speaking skills and proper grammar using different tools such as videos, lectures, games and exercises. My classes are mostly conversational and I adapt to your objectives and particular situation.
My objective is mainly to help students express themselves through oral communication, understand, listen and pronounce Spanish better in the tutor - student interaction through the activities of each lesson.
