✨Korean-Canadian ✨Certified Korean Teaching Credentials & 10 Years of Business Experience ✨Customized lessons tailored to your goals and needs ✨Looking for meaningful classes, not just casual conversation? This class is for you.
✨Bachelor’s degree in Business, University of British Columbia (UBC) ✨Certificate in Korean–English Translation and Interpretation for Business, UBC Continuing Studies
I have taught piano, flute, Korean, and English in South Korea and Canada. With over 10 years of experience teaching Korean, I have privately tutored students at all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, including TOPIK preparation.
I also share helpful Korean language learning YouTube and Instagram channels, which I provide to my students for free as additional learning resources.
I offer lessons focused on free conversation, discussion, interview preparation, and business Korean, depending on each student’s goals.
I teach the Korean alphabet, conversation, reading, writing, idioms, and Korean culture. We can also have fun and relaxed conversations about K-pop, dramas, or everyday life in Korea.
In my lessons, I use a variety of materials such as PDFs, MP3s, video clips, and textbooks. I provide small homework assignments after each class and review tests after completing each unit. For students who want to improve their writing, I encourage keeping a short journal or writing about interesting topics, which we review and correct together in class.
I always encourage students to speak Korean as much as possible, since speaking is one of the most effective ways to learn a language. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable and confident in my class—making mistakes is part of the learning process.
Let’s enjoy learning Korean together! ????
I am flexible and can easily adapt to a student's schedule. Green will identify available time slots.
I prefer teaching online, but we can also arrange to meet at a café or library if needed.
