In all of the various positions I have held, from classroom teacher to teacher-trainer to director of studies over the past 21 years, I have added value to each of the institutions where I have worked and have a long record of proven results. I bring a professional, innovative, and effective approach towards 21st century learning in all of my endeavors and I am a firm believer in excellence in education. My reputation with my employers, students and clients is impeccable. I have travelled extensively and have lived and worked in several countries for extended periods of time as new cultural experiences is a passion of mine.
I have a Bachelor's degree with a double major in English Literature and Film Studies. I also have a Cambridge University CELTA certificate in teaching English. Finally, I have a Master's degree in Education.
I am a highly qualified educator, thoroughly experienced in all facets of ELA teaching, teacher training as well as academic management, and more recently, over the last three years, I have been teaching English and other Liberal Arts subjects to seniors at High Schools in Quebec, as well as ESL to adult learners online. I have been successfully teaching AP Art History, AP US History, and AP World History in addition to AP English Language and Composition, English Literature, and AP Psychology for the last 8 years.
I use the communicative approach that allows the student to optimize their ability to produce language.
