Ciao! I am an experienced and certified mother tongue teacher of Italian language. I was born in Italy and completed all my University and post-university studies there. Teaching has always been my vocation and I do it with passion and strong commitment. I have been teaching Italian for more than 10 years worldwide to students of different ages and nationalities.
I hold Master Degree in History of Art from the University of Viterbo, a Master in Italian language from the University of Rome and a Certification of Italian language teacher to foreign students from the University of Siena (DITALS).
I have now more than 10 years of teaching experience worldwide to students of different ages (from 3 to 74) and nationalities. I have worked for international and Italian Institutions, as well as International schools and enterprises. Teaching is a vocational job for me and the best part of it is to see the student's improvement and satisfaction.

My method is based on communication and speaking but customized on the student's need. I put all my effort in making every single lesson interesting and pleasant for the student, following his/her personal interests and learner profile. In my lessons you will practice speaking, listening and reading. I usually give homework to practise listening and writing. I often talk about Italian culture too as learning a language is not only learning a code of communication but also a culture.My teaching material

Manuela is an absolutely fantastic Italian teacher. She's incredibly well organised and brings elements to the lesson that I haven't experienced before making learning Italian much more of in-depth. I learnt a lot from Manuela and my Italian improved hugely. I asked Manuela for homework so that I could keep practicing in between our lessons, she did this easily and also sent everything that we'd gone through on the previous lesson so that I could look at it all again. She's friendly, efficient, thorough, extremely knowledgable, professional, very organised and I consider her to be a teacher of a very high standard. I feel that no matter your level of Italian, she would be the perfect teacher. Very impressed and very grateful that I had the opportunity to be taught by Manuela. Grazie.
Manuela is an excellent Italian teacher and I am enjoying our classes very much! She makes online classes and discussions simple and satisfying to navigate, and is very organized with lessons and learning materials. She is patient, pleasant, and accommodating and I feel that I am advancing quickly in my Italian language comprehension, grammar, and ability to communicate through our classes. I reached out to Manuela a few months ago in order to be more comfortable understanding family members speaking Italian. In a few months we have covered many different situations and conversations that a common traveler would find themselves in. I feel, even now only a couple of months into once-a-week lessons, that I could navigate my way throughout social situations better. Manuela is very helpful throughout the week if I have questions in between lessons, and often takes a bit of extra time at the end of each lesson to make sure I feel comfortable with the information I just learned! She also sends very helpful resources, texts, and videos to make sure that as a student, I am exposed to different types of speakers and content :) Grazie Manuela!

I am writing this review as a recommendation for Mrs. Manuela Adragna as my Italian Language private teacher. I have known Manuela for almost two years where we met here in Dubai. I found her to be consistently professional and passionate to teach the Italian Language, she has been pleasant and tackling my request with dedication and a smile. I first met Manuela in Naples Florida approx 10 years ago. I took lessons with her off and on for approx 1-1.5 years. She was always prepared and worked hard to keep the lessons interesting and constantly advancing. Now that she is in Toronto, I plan to restart lessons with her. Highly recommended.
