Professional Experience
I have been teaching English for 8 years. From January, 2014 to July, 2015 I worked as teacher of English II, III and IV in a major in Portuguese and English course at a federal university in Brazil - Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro. I was a supervisor of student teaching and I was a Pedagogical Coordinator of "Idiomas Sem Fronteiras" - "Languages without borders" - a language program created by federal government of Brazil which has been changing the English teaching and learning all over the country.
Teaching Approach
* Methods: - Multiple Intelligences - Communicative Language Teaching - Task-based learning * Example of activities: Oral presentations, debates, construction of vocabulary list, individual projects, identifying linked sounds in songs/ connected speech, radio show, games - I dare you…/ jeopardy/ board race/ hangman and many others. *Materials and collaborative learning: Books and workbooks, printed material, slides and films strips, Youtube videos, TED talks, online news, blogs, online tools - Padlet, Facebook, Whatsapp, Dropbox.
