Teaching high school students for 17 years has taught me to be attentive to each student's specific needs and preoccupations. My informal and practical approach to the work at hand provides a friendly and accessible way into the material and work to be done.
We will discuss goals together and dive into the tasks with a focus that spans beyond simply getting a job done but that will also help you become a more fluent reader, a more thorough thinker, and a more expressive writer.
We will adapt the lesson at every turn and flow with your progress. The end goal is to not make you better and faster, but to make you love every step of it.
