A native English speaker with 10+ years of coaching and corporate training experience. In addition to language coaching, I also offer professional writing services (editing, proofreading, translating, copywriting, and more) and training for interviews, resume editing, editing and coaching for Ivy League admissions (including personal statements, Common App, etc.), pronunciation techniques, and preparation for the TOEFL, CELPIP, and IELTS proficiency tests. I am also a professional actress, which adds a fun and creative dimension to my coaching sessions! Before starting my own consulting & coaching practice, I was Senior Program Director & Senior English Language Specialist at Lingo Canada, where I designed language training programs for Ubisoft, Hershey’s, Univar and IBS, and others. I also trained teachers, evaluated hundreds of clients, and held corporate-wide training workshops on writing, business communication and more, in addition to providing highly specialized coaching services to private clients and corporate groups across different industries, as well as several Fortune 500 companies.

I adapt my teaching methods to each client; however, as a coach, I believe in a collaborative and creative approach to teaching, with goal setting and measured progress tracking. My sessions often include conversation-based activities, role-play, coaching, grammar instruction + drilling, simulated test preparation, flashcards, quizzing, dialect/accent coaching, immersion activities, and more. We would determine the best plan to suit your needs during a consultation meeting, which I offer free of charge (and without obligation to continue).
Limited availability throughout the week between 8am - 5pm.
Classes are offered exclusively through online platforms (Skype, GoogleMeet, What'sApp, or Facetime).
I've had classes with Stephanie for about 10 months now and I have to say she's the best English teacher I've ever had. I love how personalized to my needs our classes are but also how easily she adapts them on the fly to my crazy and often unrelated questions. She'll have you do different types of exercises and activities depending on the subject you'll go over so it never gets boring or repetitive. She always goes above and beyond, making sure I understand everything. The contents of each session are explained in detail but also in a very simple-to-understand way. Having classes with her has not only helped me speak the language better but also to transfer it to my job, which by the way Stephanie is aware of so we are always looking out for opportunities to polish up those skills.
