Depends on what will you need to study for; e.g. if you're interested in just being able to use the language, you won't need to memorize many rules and will learn to use it instinctively. But it's different if you need to prepare for a test/exam/etc, since they require a more theory-based knowledge. One thing I can tell for sure is that it won't be boring :)
