I am a 52-year-old native English speaker from South Africa. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art (Graphic Design), as well as an advanced 120-hour interactive online TEFL certification. I have experience in teaching as a mum to two young children aged 6 and 4. I have also taught Scrapbooking classes to adults and children alike.

I absolutely love teaching English and helping people learn and grow. I love teaching both children and adults and am capable to do so proficiently.
When teaching, I am energetic, positive, playful and enthusiastic. My goal is always to foster a fun and safe working environment for the student and to allow the student to really explore the English language with me. I am aware of online ESL teaching techniques such as TPR, facial expressions and props and am able to incorporate these into my lessons.
The Direct Method, Audio-lingual and Total Physical Response (TPR)
I am able to start on a part-time basis on Saturdays only, but I am eager to go full-time which would require a month’s notice.
I'm available to teach online via Skype or Zoom. I have an internet speed of 90mbs upload and download, as well as an external webcam and a noise cancelling headset. I also have a backup Generator and UPS.
