Teaching Approach
I use my knowledge of Japanese and Spanish to come up with helpful tips and tricks my students can use to properly pronounce English words that are not native to those languages. I also stress tongue positions and jaw placement when teaching pronunciation. Pictures, Songs and Drawings are also used to help the student remember the word for what it is in English and to not have to convert it from their mother language.
