Hello! My name is Hyungji Ha, and I’m about to begin my study abroad journey in the UK. It’s my dream to become a spatial designer after completing my studies at one of the world’s leading architecture schools. :-) I’m excited to share my positive energy with others along the way!
I graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture from Dankook University in South Korea, and I will begin my Master’s in Landscape Architecture (MLA) at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, this September. I have experience studying sustainable engineering as an exchange student in Germany and have also led English classes that integrate art for young children in Korea.
I worked as an English teacher in South Korea for about 1 year and 3 months. Most of my experience is related to my career path. I’ve been involved in various roles ranging from garden design to a civil engineering internship. Hold an overall IELTS score of 7.0, with 7.0 in both Speaking and Writing.
First, I think it's important to understand how interested the person is in the Korean language and what specific areas they are curious about. Personally, I believe that helping someone find their own motivation to study is key. Since learning ultimately comes from within, I see the role of a teacher as providing clear and supportive guidance rather than simply delivering information.
I'm available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and I'm also flexible on weekdays if you have a preferred time.
I prefer to teach online, but if you're a foreigner currently staying in Korea, I’m available for in-person classes until my departure date on September 15th. The price will remain the same regardless of the format. :-) Feel free to reach out anytime!
