As a music educator and author, Kaitie has published a series of electric bass method books, Beginner Series: Bass Method, volumes 1-6, which have received high acclaim from some of the industries top bassists and bass educators. These books were a culmination of her many years experience as a private music teacher on both upright and electric bass. Her books are for sale worldwide through Amazon.com and Barnes and Nobles, and are the exclusive curriculum for US Music Lessons in San Diego, CA. In addition to her book series, Kaitie has worked as a bass curriculum design consultant for Fender's new online music lesson platform, Fender Play, and has been teaching music for over 15 years. For the last year and a half, Kaitie has been an instructor on the online learning for singers platform, Singdaptive.
I like to tailor my lessons to each students individual needs. I like to find out what the students passions and interests are and work towards tailoring lessons to that, as well as making sure that they are developing in the skill areas they wish. Every students path is unique.
My schedule is flexible. Ideally I would prefer weekends but can do weekdays as well!
