A little about me: I was born in Greece and moved to London, England when I was 9 years old, where I grew up and was educated. Education / Certificates
I hold a Bsc in Psychology /Social Biology from Digby Stuart, London University and received my teaching license in Athens, Greece, where I returned to live and work. I have been living in NY for 10 years now and continue to tutor privately.
Professional Experience
My area of expertise is toefl, lower and proficiency,levels (both Cambridge and Michigan) Currently I teach Greek as a second language in NYC and Astoria, Queens and Manhattan NY to American / Greek students and I also run private esl classes for young adults.
Teaching Approach
Use my own methods /choice of books /curriculum which includes listening comprehension and oral work as well as reading comprehension, grammar and idioms/ my own placement tests and testing methods for both languages either on a one to one or up to 3 student group work dependent on ages and level.
Availability
I am flexible and can adapt to student schedules
Teaching Place(s)
At my home in queens /can /do travel to Manhattan to student's home for lessons as well.
