With a 17-year track record in teaching English, I have acquired extensive expertise and experience in teaching students of all ages in both private and group classroom settings, specialising in writing skills and preparing students for IELTS and other prominent exams.

In my current role at Hong Kong University and Sunderland University (Central - Hong Kong) and previous experience as Head IELTS Teacher with Wall Street English, I prepared lesson plans and conduct 32-46 classes a month, for both one-on-one VIP classes and group classes with up to 20 students. I also provide teaching assistance to students outside of the classroom as needed, particularly in the period leading up to an exam. I most enjoy teaching writing, which lends itself to my students achieving exceptional writing scores on the IELTS exam. Out of my various accomplishments, I am most proud of my students achieving the highest average IELTS score of any teacher at Wall Street English, particularly in the writing section, with 80% achieving 6 or above and 30% achieving 7 or above (out of 9). Previously, I have held both part-time and full-time English teaching positions at premiere English Language Institutions throughout Hong Kong including IDP, British Council, IDP and Sunderland University. I have personally developed an extensive collection of course materials, including over 200 individually designed power points that have received extensive high praise from both colleagues and students.
In my various positions I have forged robust professional relationships with colleagues and students alike, and these have been crucial to my success. With my extensive IELTS teaching experience, students have received classroom instruction specifically tailored to the IELTS exam to ensure the highest possible opportunity for success.
