I studied Philosophy as a Major and English as a Minor in my B.A I went to audio engineering school after my B.A due to interest rather than for an academic M.A and Ph.D. However, I definitely have an academic bent. Under supervision of an instructor I went through peer review of a paper and it was published, back in 2012. Philosophy is endless and ancient. You cannot keep up, and you cannot be out of date.
