Teaching Approach
I targeted a balance of 50% written exercises and 50% oral expression by the student. I tried to give to the student a dictation at each class and other practical exercises such as : writing letters, lots of reading, radio announcer simulation, listening (radio, song lyrics). Homework in reasonable quantities was also given on a regular basis.
